plz help me out in solving syllogism probs......

these probs r like.....

A)all cooks r smart

B)a few cooks r wise

C)some wise r cook

D)all smart r wise

E)no wise is cook

F)no smart is cook

(ans. which statements r logically related.....)

in AEF =occurance of middle term in conclusion hence not the ans

in AFC = no occurance of middle term in A & F hence yes

in ADC = must be correct as no rules are villated

in BEF = occurance of middle term in conclusion.... hence wrong

refer RS agrawal verbal and non verbal for this..... u fetch the concept----- -

u could also get tricks and concepts of syllogism in M.K.Pandey's "Analytical Reasoning".and how r u in venn diagram, if even good then use it with the tricks of this book to solve thesolve the prob. in 40-50 Second/Question.hope it will be helpfull....

C)ADC Is correct since syllogism must have common middle term so ADC follows it

Note: All + Some = No Conclusion.

EF combination will not work surely.

Answer should be either B or C.

B. AFC

Consider, Option C -->

--> ((All + All) + Some)

= ((All) + Some)

= (No Conclusion) // omit Option C // there is no conclusion

Consider, Option B -->

--> ((All + No) + Some)

= ((No) + Some)

= ( Some.. Not..) // there is conclusion

So, B. AFC could be the exactly matching Answer.
