* QTP records in normal recording mode.

 

* If you are creating a test on web object, you can record your test on one browser and run it on another browser.

 

* Analog Recording and Low Level Recording require more disk sapce than normal recording mode.

* If you are creating a test on web object, you can record your test on one browser and run it on another browser.Hi Could You Elaborate on this ..??Since web elements are recored and stored in OR but whenever JavaScripts are encountered, They behave differenlty for Different Browsers I have tried to do this for a long time but Not succesfulI have a Script that executes perfectly on IE 6.0Now My Web application is fully supported both on IE and FirefoxNow When I try to Execute The Script Created with IE ( normal Recording) on FireFox 1.5.0.8 Browesr , Only a few steps are executed.. and whenever any java scripts are encountered on my web application, QTP gives Error" object description does not match object displayed in your application"Now I tried Recording for those steps only in Firefox , Still No SuccessCan we use Descriptive Programming here? If So Please Let me know how?

Before going for recording, Please check the Add-Ins then enable the smart identification. Open the application in IE, because upto QTP v 8.2 will not support Mozilla for recording.
