About Business Unit:
# Develops software solutions for internal business end users based on detailed specifications. The teams supported cross multiple disciplines including product engineering / development, system testing, program management, and customer support. The Software Engineer 2 is responsible for the planning, design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software. The large user base requires innovative and highly performant architecture design and continuous review and improvement of the product implementation. This process requires analysis and application of emerging, best-in-class development tools and processes for their application to our toolset.

# Title: Software Engineer 2 - .NET Development

Job Description :
# The PowerMax Tools Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software applications and enhancements to support the development, testing, program management and reporting processes that drive the product through its release lifecycle. The changing needs of the business require state of the art tools that provide the continuous evolution of the features to support those changes. The tools that our team is responsible for include:
- OPT – Defect / workflow management
- CAT – Test management and result data capture
- Build Manager / ePack – code build and patch release tools
- Data warehouse design and development
- Report generation

Key Responsibilities :
# Works with senior engineers to develop approaches to solutions for a moderate range of complex software engineering problems. Uses judgment, creativity and sound technical knowledge to develop and test the solutions.
# Applies software engineering methods or processes, re-evaluates existing processes; designs and develops test criteria and verifies functionality and performance.
# Works with senior engineers on the overall design and development of new ideas and products, as well as issue debug / resolution code development.
# Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives
# Responsible for developing and executing project plans for their own work assignments.
# Provides documentation of work and results; reviews projects against goals and provides status reports

Essential Requirements :
# Education Required: Bachelors (Technical)
# Experience Required: 2+ years relevant experience
# Object-Oriented Programming experience with Microsoft.NET using Visual Studio, particularly C# and ASP.NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web Services), HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS
# Good verbal and written skills
# Problem solving skills

Desirable Requirements :
# Full life cycle application development process using Agile / SCRUM
# Familiarity with the design and development of SQL Server 2008 - 2016 stored procedures / SQL code
# Team Foundation Server
# JIRA / Confluence
