Job Details :
# The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research centre (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India) is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual for appointment to the post of Assistant - Purchase/ Stores (Temporary) under the unreserved category at its Bengaluru Campus.
# Salary: Rs. 29,500/ month (Consolidated).
# No. of Positions: 2.
# Tenure: This is a temporary, fixed tenure post. Initial appointment will be for six months which may be extended upto 1 year maximum depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. Selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
# Upper Age Limit: 28 years (as on 1st Jan. 2019)

Essential Qualifications and Experience :
# Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks.
# Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications.
# 1 year of experience in purchase and stores section in large and reputed organization.

Desirable :
# Graduation degree in Commerce.
# Knowledge of GFR, Government e-procurement, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other Government purchase and stores rules and regulations.
# Knowledge and experience in ERP.
# Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
# Proficient in oral and written communication in English

Job Profile :
# Administering tendering process and award of work-contracts as per TIFR rules.
# Preparing estimates for tenders, incorporation of relevant purchase terms and conditions in tenders.
# Administering proper recording and cost-validation of the capital assets of the Centre.
# Assisting with reconciliation of the Centre's expenditure.
# Awarding work contracts for various services as per TIFR norms and maintaining records.
# Maintaining a record of the capital assets and equipment, stock register of the Centre.
# Updating the datanet about the transactions pertaining to stores.
# Handling store issue and disposing of all types of stores items.
