Job Details :
# The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research centre (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India) is looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual for appointment to the post of Admin Assistant (Temporary) under the unreserved category at its Bengaluru Campus.
# Salary: Rs. 29,500/ month (Consolidated).
# No. of Positions: 2.
# Tenure: This is a temporary, fixed tenure post. Initial appointment will be for six months which may be extended upto 1 year maximum depending upon the individual’s performance and the requirements of the Centre. Selected candidate will be required to join immediately.
# Upper Age Limit: 28 years (as on 1st Jan. 2019)

Essential Qualifications and Experience :
# Graduate with a minimum of 50% marks.
# Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications.
# Minimum 1 year experience in Administrative matters and correspondence in large and reputed organization.

Desirable :
# Graduate in Science/ Engineering/ English literature.
# Proficient in computer skills (like MS Office, Spreadsheets, Google docs etc.) and with excellent interpersonal skills.
# Proficient in oral and written communication in English.

Job Profile :
# Providing logistical and administrative support to all the programming activities/ faculty recruitment/ promotion procedures etc.
# Taking care of all the aspects of financial management and correspondence of the related activities.
# Managing and maintaining an effective filing system for the related files.
# Preparing summary reports and maintaining relevant statistics.
# Providing web support for the related activities.
# Assisting in grant applications, travel plans, visa etc.
# Any other tasks assigned by Director and Dean.

# Interested candidates should report for the selection process on 1st March 2019 at 10:00 am with a copy of their CV and relevant original certificates stating the educational qualifications, experience along with a photocopy of these documents.
# Location: ICTS campus, Hesaraghatta, Bengaluru (please report at the main reception on arrival).
# Candidates may use the ICTS shuttles from the IISc or NCBS campus. The bus schedule is available on the ICTS website.

# Candidates without ‘Essential Qualifications and Experience’ will be disqualified.
