# Minimum qualification: Any graduate or (10+2+3 years of education).
# CCNA certification Must and CCNP/CCIE/CCVP certified will be preferred.

Desired Experience : 2 to 6 years of relevant experience with CCNA certified (Mandatory)

Job Description :
# The Supplier must provide network monitoring and follow agreed escalation processes relating to Event management. This includes the proactive and reactive management of Events, initial triage and logging of Incidents in the Incident management system. For all incidents, tickets are to be assigned to NOC staff within agreed time frames. Critical / High incidents also require immediate phone contact to be made to Client Support staff.
# The Supplier must perform tasks, including
- Monitoring alarms in system;
- Conduct initial diagnosis of presented Critical alarms through diagnostic tools such as;
o Ping test;
o Telnet test;
o Show command;
o Soft loop test;
o Primary or backup check; and
o Utilizing customer specific tools to diagnose and triage.
- Create an incident in ticketing system if required and provide incident resolution and restoration to L2;
- Assign Incident ticket to Level 3 Support;
- Phone call to Level 3 Support if High / Critical Incident;
- Acting as an escalation point for customer IP and MWAN carriage incidents;
- Engage, manage and act as primary contact for customers handled, client MIM and Incident co-ordination processes for high-severity faults;
- Act as an escalation point for the customer;
- Incident management of Argent, DWDM, ISDN, Frame Relay, ADSL, Private Ethernet Links, DPT, Satellite and MWAN links;
- Manage 3rd party vendors relationships (Interactive, Cisco TAC and NOSS);
- Operational Support for the International sites;
- Assist with project integration and BAU/Assurance issues; and
- Provide assistance to CBA and Client onsite support Staff.
- Completion of Service Requests as received from the Client Service Desk in SMEC.

And the skills requirements that we would be looking for in candidates :
# GENERAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High degree of fluency in reading, writing and speaking English. This includes a neutralization of language to improve the communication between the Supplier and Client and their customers/partners;
- Commitment to improve customer experience on behalf of Client;
- Commitment to take ownership and follow through issues raised;
- A pro-active nature and a commitment to achieving results;
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to Customers and peers;
- Ability to work with multiple projects and organize time effectively;
- Ability to communicate effectively and possess sufficient soft skills to handle written, telephone and video enquiries,
- Ability to quickly understand the nature of issues and troubleshoot in a timely manner;
- Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult Customers;
- Excellent computer skills and accurate data entry abilities;
- Strong analytical and technical skills (egg in relation to databases and telecommunication systems, tools, reporting and processes) and technically appropriate communication skills;
- Clear understanding of all processes/work instructions and an understanding of Clients network and products;
- Good problem solving and negotiation skills;
- Strong listening skills, being able to listen effectively and understand Client technical requirements;
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and Clients organizational structure;
- Decision making skills;
- Ability to be flexible (bearing in mind required outcomes and Customer satisfaction), to be proactive, to self-manage and to multi task;
- A good understanding of Clients Systems, operational environment, Networks and products, including:
o The ability to use Clients Systems (eg iTAM/ticketing systems, workflow systems and support tools);
o A good working knowledge of Microsoft products;
o A solid understanding of system security and access processes;
o Basic hardware troubleshooting; and
o Basic Software troubleshooting.
# ROLE SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Cisco qualifications of CCXA (CCNA or other equivalent Cisco certification).
# FUNCTION SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- All staff must possess (at minimum) the following Function-specific skills (as applicable):
# CBA:
- CCNA/CCNP with experience in alarm monitoring and L1/2 network support
- Good understanding of network architecture
- Sound Knowledge of Switching, Routing, Security, IP TEL, wireless and WAN technologies
- Good Communication, Analytical and Troubleshooting Skill 

Certifications : CCNA Certification (Mandatory); CCNP/ CCDA/CCDP/CCIE Certifications is preferred.
