Our Pune Office is looking to hire an entry level Technical Support Engineer to support our global Asset Performance users around the clock via ticketing system, phone, email and web portal. This is a position in our *New* Global Support Engineering team that will be the first point of contact for our global Asset Performance users. Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, are required to work with our global user base.

Our software engineers create, enhance, and maintain product lines used in the Design, Construction and Maintenance of infrastructure. The Asset Performance unit (the “Maintenance” phase) creates software and services to improve safety, security and compliance programs, plan asset performance and reliability strategies intelligently, and provide informed decision support from capital planning through proactive asset maintenance. Collect, analyze, and control relevant asset information, delivering actionable insights that supports our user business processes and drives the performance of our user’s infrastructure assets.

With Managed Services, we manage software upgrades and ensure the users have the most up-to-date version of our software, is available 24x7 and operate according to specific Service Level Agreements (SLA). In addition, we provide Success Plans that teach our users the best way to use Bentley software to meet their needs and apply best practices.

Responsibilities :
# Assisting users over the phone, email, ticketing system and web portal.
# Writing technical articles on the Bentley Communities site informing users on specific technical topics.
# Contribute to software testing from time to time, assist the Development teams manage Defects and User Enhancement requests.
# Detailing defects and enhancements identified by our users for the development team while identifying a workaround.
# Primary help desk to support day to day project and Managed Services tasks and issues.
# Maintaining the software of Bentley MANAGEservices and Success Plan users so reducing the Administration burden on the user

Qualifications :
# Bachelor Degree in any engineering discipline.
# Ability to analyze complex technical problems.
# Technology savvy.
# Tactful and patient with users.
# Excellent English and strong communication skills required. Business-western fashion preferred.
# Knowledge of databases (SQL Server or Oracle), Programming skills is an asset.
# Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
# Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
# Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.) an asset.
