What is this fair ?
- A job fair organized to generate employment opportunities
- The Opportunities fair is organized by THE HINDU

Who should attend ?
Job fair offers excellent employment opportunities to candidates with good communication skills
- Individuals over 20 years of age
- Fresh Graduates / Post Graduates of any discipline, including engineering streams
- Candidates with less than 2 years experience are considered as freshers
- Experienced professionals with 2 to 10 years of experience

How to Attend ?

What to expect at the fair ?
- Shortlisting of candidates in the stall area

THE PROCESS::--
* Inside the fair, first visit the stalls of desired employers that offer suitable positions & then visit other stalls. Candidates will be short-listed by the companies and sent for interviews or tests at the venue itself. Successful candidates will be offered job.

* In case you are unable to spend time with the recruiter in all the stalls, register or submit resumes at the stalls that you are interested in. This would enable candidates who have not been met by the participating companies during the fair to have an opportunity to be called for a test or interview at a later date.

According to The Hindu OPPORTUNITIES dated September 6, 2006 on page 10 you can see the details of fair clearly mentioned.

The Process

>> For Professional with less than 2 years experience

The participating companies would pre-scren the registered CV,s of the Graduates/Post Graduates including engineering stream, invitation will be sent to the selected candidates.
Candidates will be allowed entry only based on the invitation sent by the companies. The last date for registration will be Sept 12, 2006.
(Please note that the decision of the participating companies on which candidates are invited is final and no communication will be entertained in this regard)

>> For Professional with 2 to 10 years experience.
Professional with 2 to 10 years can register anytime before end of the event and walk in to the job fair along with print out ofthe registration confirmation form
