It was a guess. I may not be right.  Last time, they conducted similar recruitment, they allowed 2007 batch also. I don't really think any MNC would allow them for development job (as a fresher profile) now. See this Earlier IBM walkin happened on 27 Feb 2010 however, it's a still a nice opportunity 4 freshers. who knows actually? selected freshers may get development profile as well, though I would assume the possibility is very very minimal. |

Hi guys,
Dere is a huge possibility 99% that this job is for technical support as similar walkins are going on in greater noida 4 B.E/B.Tech(all streams) on 6th march 4 tech support. Moreover ibm never has technical walkins and not at this time because they are already hiring 2008 batch thru employee referal. |

last time when IBM visit at my clg(Rayat And Bahra-last month) they recruited for KPO .same thing which are present in this profile are mentioned that time so i am 110% sure it is for KPO IBM.
so 1st round is GD round. |

I think since recession is over, MNCs should give chances to affected ones that is 2008 n 2009..not just 2010 since they r d freshest! Not just IBM all infy wipro should give chances for development jobs conduct more off campus...

ya they should consider for 2009 batch but all they are asking is what u did till now. saying if u r a 2009 pass out with a offer then u could have kept searching for job but being a 2009 passout with a college offer letter in final year of engineering you should have joined some job. not considering any thing from students point of view that its not that easy. we have to consider what is there in a BPO job every job was for BPO and now for development they are asking what u did for last one year.
I think 2009 passout was most unlucky brach if u were from CSE and IT from a not so popular college for campus placements. any one please tell me what to do. |

Hey am also facing same prob I think we should get into some small company..as soon as possible don't look much into salary..and keep trying for better jobs..most of d off campus happen during weekends..so if u dont have a job in sat u can go attend the drive..but if u have work on sat try to take leave n attend..this is what i have planned to do...yaa u r ryt its like too late now almost a year so get a job as fast as u can..me too trying |

yes friends this is right this off campus is for technical support executive , allthough this job is also very good considering tag of IBM. i talked with some of the seniors who r working in ibm they said yes they r hiring tech support from 08/09 batch .
