Which city u r in ?

May be u can go there and give it a try if u r in same city (or near by).

Or try the phone number in odd timing. You may get the line by chance, and u may clarify ur doubt with them.

I did not understand ur doubt. It is clearly mentioned that ECE / EEE / COMPUTERS graduates can attend the walk-in.

If you are ok with given job profile (& salary) and in Chennai, I think it's better to give a shot.

We (ChetanaS) enquired the recruiter (Nokia-Siemens) for you and they told 69.5 % is absolute minimum percentage required to attend this Walk-In.

So, since you have 69.8 %, I believe you may attend the Walk-In.

Well thanks so much for the response here. i'll be in Chennai tomorrow morning..lets see if things work out. i did enquire calling up the college people (venue.. found their # through Google search ) they gave a positive response too. Thank you so much for making an effort from your side too.

For Nokia siemens, i hav following daubts.
1. as u told Minimum 69.5% are required for walkin, But is it 4 year engg.'s aggregate marks or only last year marks.
2. are they going to conduct walkin in mumbai , pune also or not?
3. What is last date of walkin?
4. What about online application sent before few days which one for written test?

To my knowledge, it's Aggregate Percentage. Anyway, I am not 100 % sure.

I don't think so. No such notification as of now.

Tomorrow (11 September 2009)

That is separate recruitment. People may get calls once they are short-listed.

This particular recruitment is only for Engineering Graduates, not for MCA.

I was there today. about 1500 candidates were present. the elligibility criteria was NO histoty of arrears ( they claimed it as company's policy NOT to recruit students who had backlogs i.e cleared papers in first attempt in engineering in all semesters ) ..above 70% marks ONLY.. only ECE , EEE , CSE were allowed..

for the point we raised.. they didn't apologize & blamed on the venue college for dealing with such issues. Personally i was quite disappointed with them.

So they did not allow IT (Information Technology) branch ?

Moreover, they did not mention about 'History of Arrears' in the advertisement. They should have mentioned it clearly.
