Uttaranchal Gramin Bank invites applications from the domiciles of Uttarakhand State for the posts as follows:

* Clerk-cum-Cashier (Office Assistant) : 53 posts (UR-34, SC-10, ST-2, OBC-7) (PH-2, Ex.SM-5),

Age as on 01/07/2009 : -18-26 years, relaxation as per Govt. rules,
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent OR a pass in Higher Secondary School examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/11th Std. of 11+3 pattern / Pre-degree or Intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate OR Diploma in Banking recognised by State or Central Govt. is preferred. OR Pass with 60% marks in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/ SSLC/ 10+2+3 pattern,
Pay Scale : Rs. 4410–13210/-

Application Fee : For SC / ST / HI / OH / EX – Serviceman candidates : Rs.50/- for each post (towards Postal Charges only) , For all others including OBC : Rs.250/- for each post (Including Postal Charges of Rs.50/-) Requisite Application Fee must be paid only by means of Account Payee crossed MICR Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque issued by a Scheduled Bank in favour of "Uttaranchal Gramin Bank Recruitment Account - Clerical Project 2009" payable at Dehradun . Candidate must write his/her name, date of birth & address on the reverse side of the DD/Bankers Cheque.

Selection Process : Written Exam (consist of objective test of Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, English Language and Clerical Aptitude) and Interview

* Pithoragarh : Centre Code N0 - 13
* Almora : Centre Code No - 14

Procedure to Apply :
Candidates should fill the prescribed application form in Capital Letters in his/her own handwriting and Application form should be on A-4 size paper and apply in the prescribed Application format accompanied by the prescribed fee and copies of required attested certificates by ordinary post only, to reach the following address :
