Applications on prescribed form are invited from the citizens of India for the following regular posts:-

1) Operation Theatre Assistant Gr.III : 41 posts (UR-21, OBC-11, SC-6, ST-3),
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.1900, (Central Pay Scale) as per 6th CPC.
Qualification : Metric with Science and One year Diploma in Operation Techniques from a reputed Hospital/Institute.

2) Junior Technician (Radiodiagnosis) : 16 posts (UR-9, OBC-4, SC-2, ST-1)
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200.
Qualification : B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-ray)/B.Sc. Medical Technology/ B.Sc. Medical Technology Radiodiagnosis / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radiodiagnosis & Imaging Technology.

3) Junior Technician (Radiotherapy) : 01 post (ST)
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- Grade Pay Rs.4200
Qualification : B.Sc. Medical Technology (Radiology/ Radiotherapy)

4) Ophthalmic Technician : 04 posts (UR-2,OBC-1,SC-1)
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200
Qualification : B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Techniques or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.

5)Junior Physiotherapist : 07 posts (UR-5, OBC-2)
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2800
Qualification :
10+2 with Science / Inter (Science).
Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised/ reputed Institute/ Hospital.

Age : 18-30 years. Relaxation in age as per rules.

Selection Procedure : Written test of 85 marks and Interview of 15 marks.

Application form and detailed information can be obtained from the office of the Recruitment Cell, Kairon Block, PGIMER, Chandigarh-160012 either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed & stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope (27 cm x 12 cm) along with a Demand Draft of Rs.325/- (Rs.175 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Director PGIMER, Chandigarh payable at State Bank of India, Sector 12, Chandigarh (Code No.1524) as non-refundable fee and cost of application form etc OR can be dowloaded from the website of PGIMER.
