Space Applications Centre (SAC) of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has been pioneer in systems engineering, design, development, fabrication and qualifications and sophisticated hardware/software for the space programme in the field of Satellite communications, broadcasting, remote sensing, meteorology & oceanography. SAC has currently undertaken the development of payloads for INSAT-4 and GSAT series of advanced communication satellites and state-of-the-art optical and microwave sensors for remote sensing Satellites viz. IRS-P6, RISAT, Oceansat-2, Chandrayaan, Megha Tropiques. The Centre also carries out research and development related to applications of satellite remote sensing. GIS and GPS in management of natural resources, disaster mitigation and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications
Graduate Apprentice(518 to 524) : First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology in the
respective disciplines.
Age (as on 31.10.2008) : For Code Nos. 518 to 524 is 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST Candidates & 3 years for OBC Candidates). Candidates belonging to PH category are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years in case of Graduate apprentice.

Stipend: Graduate Apprentice - Rs.5000/-

General Instructions :
a) The Professional Diploma / Degree should have been obtained from a recognized University / Institution.
B) Some of the Training positions are reserved for SC/ST/OBC Category as per rules. In case of non availability of suitable SC/ST/ OBC Candidates, the positions will be filled by general candidates.
c) Those who have undergone similar training or have got job experience for a period of one year or more in any
Government/ Public Sector/ Private Sector Organization will not be considered for Apprenticeship Training. The
trainees will have no claim what so ever for regular employment in Liquid Propulsion System Centre or any other units of ISRO after completion of the training.
d) Candidate will have to produce proof of the details furnished in their applications as and when required.
