Recruitment of Constable Male (Driver)

Applications are invited for 500 posts of Constable male Drivers in Haryana Police as per details given below. Selected candidates on appointment as Constable shall be in the pay scale of Rs.3050-5325/- with usual allowances.

Vacancies : 5456 posts of Constable (Sonipat-500)

Selection Centre : District Police Lines in Sonipat district.

Eligibility : Candidate should be citizen of India or a subject of Neapl or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.

Character Certificate : No person shall be appointed to the post of Constable, unless he produces a certificate of character from the Principal Academic, Officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended, and similar certificate from two other responsible persons, not being relative who are well acquainted with him in his private life and are unconnected with his university, college, school or institution.

Educational Qualification : Matriculation pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other Board recognised for all categories. (ii) Candidate must have a valid driving license to drive heavy or light motor vehicle which should be minimum of 2 years old.

Age : General : 18 to 25 years as on 1st July 2008. Relaxation as per rules.

Physical standard : Height : 5'7" (male) and 5'2", Chest - 33" , Expanded - 34 1/2 "

Selection Procedure : Physical Efficiency Test and Interview/Personality Test who qualify PET.

Application Fee : Every application should be accompanied with original Treasury Challan or Indian Postal Order for payment of Rs.10/- for General category candidates. The amount be deposited in any Haryana Govt. Treasury under receipt head "0055-Police-Other-Receipt" or be paid by Indian Postal Order payable in favour of Chairman, Selection Board. No fee for SC/BC candidates of Haryana.

Where to Apply : A candidate can apply at Selection Centre located in District Police Lines, Sonipat.

Procedure to Apply :
Registration of the candidates for recruitment shall begin on 8th August 2008 at 9.00 AM at the designated Selection Centres. All the eligible candidates may submit their application forms in the prescribed format to the Superintendent of Police -cum- Chairman, Selection Board at Sonipat, in person. The candiates are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it with the application form. Application Form can also bse sent by registered post to the concerned Selection Centres not leter than 05 Sep 2008.

Vacancies : 5456 posts of Constable (Yamuna Nager-682, Kaithal - 682, Bhiwani-682, Jind-682, Panipat-682, Jhajjar-682, Palwal-682, Rewari-682)
